Email Marketing Strategies
In this day and age, almost all people are in one way or another connected to the Internet. So much so that even purchasing groceries can be done online. Perhaps the only thing the Internet fails to provide is relatively fresh meat sold over the net, but then again, maybe there are companies that are offering that these days. With almost everything available on the Internet, online marketing strategies have begun to flourish and one of these effective schemes involves email marketing strategies.
The processes of online marketing strategies include sending bulk emails to a company's old customers and possible new clients. This is an effective way of saving time and money for the company, as well as providing the customer a comfortable access to almost all information with just a touch of a button. Internet marketing has never had it this good before mass email marketing came into reality.
Unfortunately, there is a downside to email marketing strategies. Since email marketing strategies has been proven effective, people sending illegitimate emails have also come into existence. These bulk and useless emails are what system administrators refer to as SPAM. Basically, these emails do not have a legitimate offer or product, but in most cases they contain viruses or perhaps schemes that try to con money from people who fall prey to their false emails.
It is because of the rise of SPAM that the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 was created. This Act protects customers from SPAM and bulk emails that email marketing strategies provide. However, if the email marketing strategies implemented follow correctly the rules and regulations set by the act, the company can be rest assured that their online marketing strategies will not go to waste.
One of the ways that companies ensure that their customers will not regard their email marketing strategies as SPAM is through the use of opt-in lists. Even if they use web based software for their email marketing strategies, the customers have control of their subscription with the use of the opt-in list. System administrators will not see any reason to tag emails from email marketing strategies if they provide customers with options to "opt-out" at any time they wish to.
